Program Overview

Horizon Study Lab is an innovative approach to make use of the latest technology for personalizing the self learning process.

This program is offered to the children of grades 1 - 10 from independent parents, and Horizon Study Lab associated schools.

Study lab goals

Study Lab is a research based program of Horizon Dream Vision to establish effective methods of utilizing technology and teacher experiences in realizing full potential of every single student.

We are developing pedagogical best practices as part of this program to have most effective strategy in filling the learning gaps and advancing learning process.

Study lab benefits

Study Lab complements the overall school academics without causing any inteference in the School System or students' other academic activities.
Study Lab determines the baseline competency of every single students and creates a custom learning path for each one.
In the Study Lab a teacher continuously monitors students and analyzes their activities in real time. Study Lab makes it possible for each student to attempt a large number of questions and skills under the monitoring, guidance, and support of the teacher.
Study Lab handles any past learning gaps as well as goes beyond the current class boundaries if the student is assessed to be ready to move ahead of the current grade.
Study Lab frees every single student in such a manner that they compete with themselves and proceed at their best pace.
Study Lab by its design overcomes the limitations of traditional classrooms where individual attention is possible to a very limited extent.
In Study Lab every student is engaged and highly motivated as their learning connects with their existing competency level and moves forward from that point.
Study Lab fosters the culture of concept based learning, application of concepts, and extensive practising in a very enjoyable way. The self-learning methods unleash the hidden potential of every single student.
At Study Lab we prepare students with global competency levels in mind and we have been succsussful in doing that.

Physics and Mathematics Graduate, M. Sc. Psychology

Honors in Physics and Mathematics, and M. Sc. in Psychology. Aaminah works as management consultant for IB PYP program.

Aaminah has worked as core member in leading the Horizon Mentorship Program – a multidisciplinary program on advanced Mathematics, Communication Skills (TOEFL iBT) , and Holistic Personality Development for the high school students. She has been the founding member in the design and development of Horizon Study Lab program. Played an active role in piloting the program in various schools and community centers like Payam School, Srinagar (JK State Board), Noble School, Bangalore (CBSE Board), Lucent Global School, Anantnag (Geneva Board), and Sajadia Community Center, Srinagar.

Experienced socioemotional wellbeing counsellor for the students and parents with effective results. Worked at Institute of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation Sciences.
